Transaction processing volumes hit record high

Hamilton, Bermuda. October 26, 2006. First Atlantic Commerce Ltd (FAC), a leading eCommerce payment solutions provider, today announced the appointment of four additional staff to address the growing needs of the company and its merchants.

FAC processed record transaction volumes in the last quarter and its merchant base, which includes industries such as stored-value and prepaid card funding solutions, US and European based pharmacies, telecoms and prepaid phone cards, travel related services, ecash, software and digital download companies, web hosting companies and low risk retail, continues to expand.

The company has appointed Henry Thomas as Vice President and Financial Controller of First Atlantic Commerce Ltd. Mr. Thomas comes to FAC with over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Most recently, he was employed as an integration consultant for AP Moller-Maersk, the largest container ship and supply vessel operators in the world, in Rotterdam, Holland and was key in preparing for the company’s acquistion of P&O Nedlloyd Ltd.

He also worked as the finance manager at Dyson Benelux BV for the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg region, and spent several years as the financial controller for Halliburton, an oil field supply company, and Belkin, a connectivity solutions and computer accessories company.

Tricia Lines Hill has joined FAC as Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Communications. Mrs. Lines Hill’s experience in the payments industry spans six years, and she has previously held both marketing and business development roles within the company.

She has worked as a publisher, journalist and editor for newspapers, global trade magazines, real estate journals and business newsletters as well as a corporate consultant and director of a corporate services company. She is also a former director of Bermuda-based ISP and web hosting company, Transact Ltd.

Mrs. Lines Hill, a Bermudian, holds a Masters degree in International Business from US based Webster University, and has almost 15 years experience in corporate communications.

A Warwick Academy graduate, the Bermudian holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Western University and an honors degree in Law from The University of Buckingham.

After completing her studies in law, she decided to apply her expertise to banking and worked in trust services at the Bank of Bermuda and as a trust officer for Bermuda Commercial Bank. She has more than six years of experience in the financial services industry.

Also new to FAC is Greg Van der Made, who was appointed Relationship Manager, Business Development and Sales. As the company continues to sign new clients, Mr. Van der Made is vital to the business development team.
